Li Xiaosong

Introduction

Li Xiaosong graduated from the School of Transportation and Logistics of Southwest Jiaotong University and the Peking University Law School, and gained a master’s degree from the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University. Li is founding partner and director of Yongwen Law Firm, and is also a board member of the Chinese Society of Criminology, chief supervisor of the Chongqing Chamber of Commerce in Beijing, and Vice President of the Finance Association of the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University.

With more than 20 years’ work experience in law, Li has been involved in a wide range of practice areas, including corporate governance, corporate restructuring, M&A, domestic and foreign listing and bond issuance, private equity investment, real estate and infrastructure, non-performing assets disposal and commercial litigation and arbitration. Li has served as legal counsel of China Railway (formerly the Ministry of Railways) and other ministries, and has provided legal services to state enterprises such as China National Petroleum Corporation, China Petrochemical Corporation, China North Industries Group Corporation and China Electronics Corporation, and financial institutions such as Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Everbright Bank, China Cinda Asset Management and China Insurance Security Fund. With his depth of experience, Li handled the A-share listing of the large transportation company Daqin Railway, the issuance of the first batch of corporate bonds in China and the exemption of tender offer of the first batch of listed companies.

Li has settled a number of high-profile projects, including China Electronics Corporation’s M&A of Pactera and the private equity investment project of ZGC Co-innovation Fund. Li currently focuses on major arbitration, litigation and retrial in the economic sector.

Li has been awarded as an Outstanding Lawyer in Beijing for many years, Excellent Director of Law Firms in Haidian District in Beijing and Client Choice: Top 15 SOE Lawyers by Legalband in 2023.
