Introduction

Wang Jianfeng is a senior partner at AllBright Law Offices, specialising in dispute resolution, M&A, restructuring and insolvency.

As a lawyer who has dealt with cases with great social influence, Wang is known for his in-depth and precise interpretation of the law. Wang’s deep insights and extensive practical experience enable him to provide effective and reliable legal services tailored to his clients’ interests. Taking advantage of his extensive experience in both dispute resolution and M&A, Wang helps his clients with risk management and transaction structuring, which reduce the probability of future legal disputes and help them achieve their business goals with lower costs and risks.

In the field of litigation, Wang has acted as the lead counsel in complex cases with significant influence, such as the Bund Land King case, the Wuxi Hynix fire insurance subrogation claim case (the largest single accident insurance claim in Asian history), the Shandong Chenming joint venture disputes case series, and the Tianyuan Manganese controlling interest transaction case. In addition, Wang has represented clients in the Supreme People’s Court of the People’s Republic of China and many high people’s courts, and has achieved a high win rate.

Wang has also represented clients in many arbitration cases administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, the Shanghai International Arbitration Center, the Shanghai Arbitration Commission, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration and the Beijing Arbitration Commission. Additionally, Wang has a broad range of experience in cases regarding the validity of arbitration agreements, vacation of arbitration awards, non-enforcement of arbitration awards, and recognition and enforcement of foreign/Hong Kong arbitration awards.

With extensive experience in dispute resolution, Wang also provides M&A legal services and assists non-litigation teams to avoid potential legal risks for clients through early intervention, as shown in Huaxin Securities’ equity transfer of its joint venture to Morgan Stanley, which marked the very first share increase project of foreign investors in the joint venture after the new regulations became effective in the securities industry.
