Lim Chee Wee Partnership (LCWP) has added Ng Jern-Fei KC to the team, making it the only law firm in Malaysia with a king’s counsel within its ranks.
Ng, who has two decades of international arbitration experience, will officially join LCWP on 2 January 2024.

He made Malaysia proud when he became one of the youngest silks to be appointed in England and Wales, and is now the first and only king’s counsel to be affiliated with a Malaysian practice,” said Lim Chee Wee, senior partner at LCWP.
Ng said, “I am confident that my mutually complementary affiliations in four different jurisdictions will serve to reinforce LCWP’s offerings in this space.”
LCWP notes that Malaysia is following the trend in the region’s economic growth, making international arbitration a crucial alternative dispute resolution method in Asia.
