Legal League Consulting held an open house on liberalization of India’s legal market in August. Founder Bithika Anand said the initiative was designed to “provide a platform for meaningful discussions and deliberation on core issues … [to] assess our preparedness for embracing the change and probable impact”.
The sessions featured speakers from Indian law firms such as Trilegal, Hammurabi & Solomon and IndusLaw; in-house counsel from Jones Lang LaSalle and Hilton Worldwide among others; and legal group representatives such as Lalit Bhasin, president of the Society of Indian Law Firms.
