Introduction
Lawrence Li Weijie graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law with a Juris Master. He is a member of the Civil Affairs Research Committee of the Lawyers Association, the Youth Working Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Democratic Revolution, the Working Committee of Participating in and Discussing Politics of the Jing’an District Committee of the Democratic Revolution, the vice president of Shanggang subdistrict in Pudong New Area, a lecturer for the legallecturer group of the Pudong New Area Judicial Bureau (per translation), an expert of estate managers of the Zhangjiang Notary Public Office, and has been invited as a special guest interviewee at Eastday.com.
Li has acquired long-term experience in property and marital law, as well as proficiency in civil and commercial litigation, allowing him to provide perennial legal counsel for a number of government agencies, institutions and enterprises. He successfully represented the first case of residential dispute over affordable housing in Shanghai. Li has published dozens of professional articles in various media platforms.
