Kapil Chaudhary brings more than 23 years of experience to his new role as executive vice president and general counsel, legal, at Info Edge, India’s premier online classifieds company.

I aspire to be a true business partner, and to strongly position the legal team as a stellar team that is collaborating closely with all departments and multiple business units to help achieve our collective goals,” said Chaudhary.

Chaudhary brings more than 23 years of experience in legal leadership, strategy and data privacy. He has held general counsel roles across top-tier US-based global conglomerates in dynamic, agile and fast-paced environments.
“I am grateful to have had an action-packed and impactful stint at Flutter International/ Junglee Games where I got an opportunity to set up the legal function at Junglee from scratch and deal with several challenging legal, regulatory, taxation and policy issues in the Indian online gaming industry,” said Chaudhary, formerly general counsel at Junglee Games.
“The opportunity to take on a general counsel role with a reputed Indian listed company that’s redefined and shaped the Indian internet landscape and has a stellar leadership team was the pull factor for considering the exciting move to Info Edge,” he added.
He was a member of the leadership team for India and the South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation at Autodesk and Twitter’s international legal team. He has also previously worked at IBM, Schlumberger Asia Services, Star News and Fox Mandal Solicitors & Advocates.
Chaudhary has in-depth knowledge of industry regulations and legislation. He is also proficient in emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, privacy and data security.
