Representatives of mid-cap companies from India and abroad gathered at Delhi’s Le Méridien hotel on 15 February for a “corporate matching programme” that aimed to pair Indian companies with foreign partners. More than 150 delegates from 17 countries attended.

Speakers included Ajit Seth, a former Indian cabinet secretary; Atul Chaturvedi, the joint secretary of the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion; Madhav Shriram, the CII chairman for Delhi state; and Savithri Parekh, chief, legal and secretarial, at Pidilite Industries. When the speeches were over, the Indian and overseas delegates huddled around tables for a series of matchmaking meetings.
