Introduction

Xiaobo He joined Watson & Band in 2006 and is as a senior partner at the firm. He is a member of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association, an arbitrator for the Qinzhou Trade Arbitration Commission, and is actively involved in the Demonstration Station of Trade Secret Protection in Xuhui district, Shanghai (Watson & Band).

He is known for his legal acumen, comprehensive approach, work ethic, precision and exemplary character. His dedication extends to both theoretical research and practical operations. With a comprehensive, practical and thorough understanding of legal matters, he adeptly employs litigation and non-litigation approaches to optimise clients’ legitimate interests while considering their social impact. He excels in designing litigation strategies, defending against complex cases, and demonstrating strong communication, coordination and negotiation skills, all honed through years of valuable experience.

In the civil and commercial law domain, He has successfully represented Baowu Group and its subsidiaries in solving steel trading crises resulting from the fund rupture of steel dealers, and did his best to minimise losses and secure the interests of the company. Notably, he represented Wan Bao Property Group and Emperor Group in litigation concerning real estate cooperation and development, handled lawsuits involving financial, construction projects and lease disputes for Wison Group, and resolved disputes arising from assembled funds for Minmetals International Trust. His expertise extends to devising effective domestic and international litigation plans for Zhong Fu Group in cross-border and cross-regional cases.

In the field of intellectual property law, He represented Bloomberg LP and Blizzard Entertainment in unfair competition disputes involving the infringement of Bloomberg’s professional services and Blizzard’s renowned game products, which was selected as among the Top 10 IP cases of the year. He also played a crucial role in Momentive’s series of trade secret infringement disputes, and represented Wind in an unfair competition dispute against Tong Hua Shun.
