Ember Pang

Introduction

Ember Pang, a senior partner at Allbright Law Offices, has a longstanding commitment to providing legal services in the mainland China, Hong Kong, and overseas capital markets. His expertise lies in PE financing, M&A, restructuring, domestic and international stock offerings and listings. He primarily serves industries such as national defense and military, healthcare and pharmaceutical, industrial and high-end manufacturing, semiconductor and clean energy. Pang also serves as the general convener of the firm’s healthcare and pharmaceuticals committee.

Pang has been actively involved in both domestic and overseas capital markets. He has led his team to successfully complete various projects recently, including the A-share IPOs of Fujian Forecam Optics, Jiangsu ToLand Alloy, Jiangsu GDK Biotechnology, Shanghai Rightongene Biotechnology, and Suzhou Huaya Intelligence Technology. Pang has also managed Hong Kong IPO projects,including the H-share IPO of Dima Holdings subsidiary Dowell Service. He has been involved in various fundraising and restructuring projects such as convertible bond issuance for Zhejiang Int’l Group, private placements for Xinhuadu, convertible bond issuance for Suzhou Huaya Intelligence Technology, and share issuance with cash purchases of assets for Poly Plastic Masterbatch Suzhou.

Pang has received recognition from international legal rating agencies, including Chambers and Partners, IFLR1000, Dawkins, The Legal 500 and Legalband, particularly in the field of capital markets. Pang joined Allbright in 2015, following several years of practice at Zhong Lun Law Firm’s Shanghai office. He is the chief editor of the book Research on Legal Practices of Restructuring and Listing of Defense Enterprises (published by China Law Press in 2019), and led the writing of The Pathway for Domestic and Overseas Listing of Healthcare Enterprises (published by China Law Press in 2023).
