The former director of economics at Baker McKenzie, Sanjiv Malhotra, has left to join DMD Advocates as a senior director and chief economist in its New Delhi office.
“Having spent four years in Singapore, I thought it was a good time to move back to India,” Malhotra told India Business Law Journal. “I have known [senior partners] Anuradha Dutt and Rashi Dhir for some time. Also, having worked with them and [tax partners] Tushar Jarwal and Sachit Jolly in the past on common clients gave me immense comfort about the values of the firm.”
