Eight new additional judges have been appointed to Delhi High Court. Vibhu Bakhru, Jayant Nath, VK Rao, Sanjeev Sachdeva and Najmi Waziri are from the Delhi High Court bar. Two have been elevated from district courts: Sunita Gupta from Tis Hazari and Deepa Sharma from Dwarka. The eighth judge, VP Vaish, has been promoted from the role of registrar general of the high court.
