A team of students from National Law School of India University (NLSIU) in Bangalore has won the 54th Philip C Jessup International Moot Court Competition in Washington DC. NLSIU’s Geetha Hariharan, Shreya Jain, Akshaya Ramadurai and Raag Yadava brought home the winners’ trophy after defeating Singapore Management University in the finals on 7 April. Yadava also received the Stephen M Schwebel Best Oralist Award in the final round.
Three judges from the International Court of Justice – Ronny Abraham, Xue Hanqin and Julia Sebutinde – judged the final round of the competition.
