The Hong Kong Corporate Counsel Association (HKCCA) members attended a half-day conference entitled “Transform your legal department” on 18 July at Island Shangri-La.
The event was sponsored by Thomson Reuters and began with speeches from Michelle Wei, secretary of the HKCCA and vice president and general counsel at APAC, Flextronics, and from Jane Lewis, the host’s head of professional of ASEAN/North Asia.
Following that, Peter Davies from Legal Solutions, Thomson Reuters led a panel discussion on Digital Transformation in Action, with panelists including: Ben Hamilton, head of legal, Asia at ANZ; Stephanie Wong, senior legal counsel for technology, operations and services at HSBC; and Andrew Morentz, compliance officer at Thomson Reuters.
