Introduction

Zhang Jinen is a Partner at Haiwen & Partners.  He has more than 15 years of practice and has extensive experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity investment, securities and corporate governance. Zhang’s clients include Chinese and foreign companies, investment banks, private equity funds, and financial institutions. His experience covers a wide range of industries including healthcare, biotechnology, TMT, new energy, financial services, consumer goods and retail. Zhang joined Haiwen in 2006 and became a partner in 2015. He also worked at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in its New York office during 2012 and 2013.

Zhang received his LLB Master of Laws degrees from the Southwest University of Political Science and Law and Peking University in 2003 and 2006, respectively. He also received his LLM degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Duke University School of Law in 2012. Zhang’s native language is Putonghua and he is fluent in English.
