Introduction

Vincent Shen graduated from Fudan University Law School and obtained Bachelor’s and Master of Laws degrees. Vincent’s practice focuses on capital markets/securities, private equity/venture capital investments, corporate finance and restructuring, and M&A, with particular expertise in advising on cross-border transactions. Shen has more than 12 years of experience on a variety of transactions, covering a broad range of industrial sectors, especially: technology, media and telecoms; education/training; healthcare; consumer products; logistics and distribution; industrial manufacturing; and modern agriculture.

Shen has advised a large number of multinational and PRC-based enterprises and investment institutions including, without limitation: JD Group, Bilibili, Dada Group, Didi Group, Orient International Group, Oriental Pearl Group, Yongda Automobiles, Lens Technology, Hesai Technology, Boqii Holding, Sequoia Capital, Legend Capital, Goldman Sachs, SIG China, Vertex Capital, Oriza Holding, Grand Flight Investment, DT Capital, and Morgan Stanley.

Shen’s well-known deals include: Bilibili’s US IPO; Dada Group’s US IPO; Boqii Holding’s US IPO; ECMOHO’s US IPO; Bilibili’s series of aquisitions including Netease Comics assets and popular virtual idol Luo Tianyi; joint establishment of Nomura Orient International Securities by Orient International Group and Nomura Securities; Bilibili’s investment in Three-Body; VoxelCloud’s financing from Tencent and Sequoia Capital; and Xbiome’s financing from  Banyan Capital, Zhen Fund, 5Y Capital, Legend Capital and Primavera Capital.

Baidu’s Acquisition of 91 Wireless, on which Shen advised, was awarded ALB’s China M&A Deal of the Year and China TMT Deal of the Year; and China Law & Practice’s TMT Deal of the Year. JD Group’s acquisition of Tencent’s e-commerce business was awarded ALB’s China M&A Deal of the Year. Shen was also awarded the Client Choice Top 20 Lawyers in China by ALB, and a Top 10 Outstanding Young Lawyer by CLECSS. Shen is a member of the internet and information technology committee of the Shanghai Bar Association, and a postgraduate tutor of East China University of Political Science and Law.
