Introduction
Daniel Ye is a senior partner of Jincheng Tongda & Neal and specializes in dispute resolution relating to trusts, private equity, banking, corporate governance and complex commercial disputes. Ye has in-depth experience of close to 15 years in commercial litigation and arbitration, and has served clients including multinational companies, financial institutions and large private enterprises from an array of jurisdictions. Above-mentioned services cover areas like trusts, private equity, banking, real estate, property services, healthcare, energy, food industry, civilian-run education, and corporate governance disputes.
In recent years, Ye participated in the due diligence guidelines of trust companies and subsidiaries of securities investment fund management companies, product design and legal document drafting for family trusts, as well as charitable trusts for trust companies. Since 2015, Ye has served as deputy director of the 10th Trust Research Committee of Shanghai Bar Association, and actively participated in drafting proposals on the “Trial for Business Trust Disputes” of the minutes of the National Court of Civil and Commercial Trial Work Conference, among which six of his proposals were officially adopted by the Supreme Court, and the proposal on identification of the business trust dispute was adopted literally by the Supreme Court.
With his extensive experience and deep understanding of civil litigation and arbitration, Ye serves as an arbitrator with multiple arbitration commissions including Nanjing Arbitration Commission, Shenyang Arbitration Commission and Weifang Arbitration Commission, as well as an adjunct professor at Nanjing Audit University and other universities. Ye was nominated as one of the 7th Pudong Top Ten Outstanding Young Lawyers.
