Zhang Jianxin

Introduction

Zhang Jianxin is a partner at Merits & Tree Law Offices. Prior to joining M&T, Zhang worked at King & Wood Mallesons for many years.

Zhang is well-experienced in bankruptcy reorganisation, insolvency liquidation, out-of-court agreement restructuring, non-performing assets and investment in special opportunities, as well as crisis counseling for distressed enterprises. He has been involved in bankruptcy reorganisation, insolvency liquidation and debt risk resolution projects for many listed companies and non-listed large-scale corporations in a wide range of industries such as new energy, foodstuffs, real estate, steel, environmental protection, shipping, non-ferrous metal processing, textiles, insurance, high technology and services.

As a core member of the firm’s project team, Zhang has participated in the reorganisation cases of listed companies, which were selected in the top 10 typical cases of insolvency by the Supreme People’s Court, the High People’s Court of Shannxi, the High People’s Court of Henan, and the High People’s Court of Guangdong. He also participated in the reorganisation cases of unlisted large-scale enterprises, which were selected in the top 10 commercial cases and typical cases of private economy protection in Chongqing by the Supreme People’s Court.
