Introduction
Jordan Yang is a senior partner at AllBright Law Offices, where he serves as deputy director and secretary-general of the firm’s aviation and aerospace committee. He is a supervisor at the Beijing office and head of the London office.
With a strong international perspective and deep industry insight, Yang’s practice focuses on cross-border investment, banking and finance, and commercial dispute resolution. He is particularly experienced in providing integrated and multidisciplinary legal solutions for clients in the aviation and aerospace, infrastructure, pharmaceutical and emerging technology sectors.
Yang graduated from both the Pritzker School of Law and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in the US. Recognised for his outstanding performance in aviation finance and cross-border transactions, he has been repeatedly listed as a recommended lawyer in aviation finance by Chambers Global and Chambers Greater China, and has also been recognised by Legal 500, LEGALBAND, and IFLR1000 for his expertise in banking and finance, corporate and M&A, and outbound investment.
Outside his legal practice, Yang contributes to international and domestic legal and industry organisations. His current roles include:

Yang is also a contributing author for Chambers and Lexology, and has been frequently invited to speak at prominent international conferences and legal forums, including Asian Legal Business events, LexisNexis summits, the Advanced Air Mobility International Conference, AirTaxi World Congress, China Arbitration Week (London session), and the Sino-Europe Finance Summit.
Yang has long been devoted to investment and financing transactions, covering cross-border M&A, private equity and venture capital (renminbi and US dollar funds), debt-to-equity swaps (including non-performing loan restructuring), syndicated loans, project financing, and onshore/offshore securities offerings.
He has led numerous landmark new energy and infrastructure projects, including investments in wind, solar and hydropower, as well as urban development, wastewater treatment, port construction, and commercial real estate complexes.
In the aviation finance sector, Yang has extensive experience representing domestic and international banks, airlines and leasing companies, in a wide range of aircraft, engine and aviation-equipment financing and leasing projects. These cover Boeing and Airbus aircraft, business jets and helicopters, across finance and operating leases, sale-and-leaseback transactions, and bonded zone leasing structures in China.
In recent years, Yang has further expanded his expertise into low-altitude economy and advanced air mobility legal services. As external legal counsel to the Royal Aeronautical Society China Representative Office and other leading organisations, he provides strategic legal support to electrical vertical take-off and landing, electric aviation, and drone industry leaders, contributing to innovation and global integration in China’s future air mobility sector.
