An Shouzhi

Introduction

An Shouzhi earned his PhD in international law from Wuhan University, and is a visiting scholar at Columbia University and the University of Hong Kong. He is a managing partner at AnJie Broad Law Firm’s Xiamen office, specialising in the One Belt, One Road initiative and cross-border investment, shipping and offshore, sports and entertainment, as well as arbitration and dispute resolution. He has experience as counsel or an arbitrator for hundreds of cases in various jurisdictions under the arbitration rules of the Hong Kong Arbitration Centre, the International Chamber of Commerce, the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, the London Maritime Arbitrators Association, the Russian Arbitration Center, the Court of Arbitration for Sport, the Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration, and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law. An was selected as one of the Chinese Ministry of Justice’s talent pool of 1,000 lawyers for foreign Lawyers, Xiamen’s high-level “Double Hundred Talents” and as an “Excellent Chief Counselling Expert” of the China Law Society. He was named as a leading or recommended lawyer by Asia Law & Practice, Lexology Index (formerly Who’s Who Legal), China Business Law Journal and Legal 500.
