Zhan Hao

Introduction

Zhan Hao obtained his PhD in law from Peking University and completed his post-doctoral research in economics. His competence in both law and economics gives him an edge in counselling on antitrust and insurance issues. In his more than 25 years’ law practice, Zhan has represented clients, including many blue chip and Fortune 500 companies from a wide range of sectors, in many influential insurance and antitrust cases. For many years, he has been rated as a recommended lawyer in China in the practice areas of insurance and reinsurance, dispute resolution and antitrust/competition by Chambers and Partners, Lexology Index (formerly Who’s Who Legal), Global Competition Review, Legal 500, Asian Legal Business China, and Expert Guides.

He also serves as the International Chamber of Commerce China Competition Commission regional ambassador, of which he is also vice chairman. He sits as an arbitrator for the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, the Beijing Arbitration Commission, the Shanghai International Arbitration Centre, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, among other arbitral institutions.
