Introduction
Jordan Yang is a senior partner at AllBright Law Offices, serving as the chair of supervisory board of the Beijing office and also as head of the London office. He primarily works in both Beijing and London offices, and has over 20 years of legal experience. His primary practice areas include cross-border investment, banking and finance, private equity, and commercial dispute resolution. He specialises in providing comprehensive and integrated legal services in the aviation, infrastructure, biopharmaceuticals, and emerging technology industries.
In 2024, Jordan was recognised as a leading figure in Aviation Finance by Chambers Global/Greater China, and listed as a recommended Lawyer in the field of Overseas Investment by LegalBand. In 2023, Jordan was recognised as one of the Visionaries of the A-List by China Business Law Journal, and a Stellar Accolade by LegalOne.
In addition to his role at AllBright Law Offices, Jordan holds other significant positions, including:
chairman of Asiajuris International, an international network of law firms; member of the arbitration and alternative dispute resolution committee of ICC China; one of the inaugural mediators at the International Centre for Dispute Prevention and Resolution; one of the first batch of mediators at the aviation industry dispute mediation centre of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association in China; a listed lawyer in the Beijing foreign-related lawyer talent pool; a special expert at the aviation and shipping industry finance centre of Fudan University’s International Finance Institute; an external expert at the Innovation Industry Fund Investment Committee of Shijingshan district, Beijing; an expert at the Bulgaria-China Commercial Law Co-operation Centre.
Jordan graduated from Northwestern University School of Law with a Master of Laws degree and simultaneously obtained a certificate in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. His working languages are Chinese and English.
