Introduction

Xia Yang is a partner of Tahota Law Firm, which is a famous law firm of West China, and currently a member of the female lawyers working committee of Sichuan Lawyers Association and deputy director of Education and Training Professional committee of Chengdu Lawyers Association. Xia graduated from China University of Political Science and Law, is a former grade 4 procurator, and has been a lawyer in practice for over 11 years. Her practicing scope mainly covers real estate, project construction, company business, M&A, restructuring and insolvencyand other fields.

Xia has long served as the perennial legal consultant for many large state-owned and foreign enterprises, real estate development and commercial management enterprises, such as Chengdu Banknote Printing, 18 real estate development companies and commercial management companiesof CR Land in West China region, Chengdu Tianfu OCT Industrial, OCT Western Investment, Chengdu Anren OCT Cultural Tourism Development, Meishan Zhongfa Agricultural Science and Technology Park development, Chengdu Yingting Real Estate, and SCEI Distributed Energy Systems. At the same time, Xia has provided perennial legal services for the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Chengdu for six consecutive years, and has rich experience in the field of legal services for state-owned enterprises.

Since practising as a lawyer, Xia has provided legal due diligence and special legal services for several real estate acquisitions such as Chengdu Vanke, Chengdu Tianfu OCT, Chengdu Anren OCT, China Resources land and Rongqiao Group. She has also provided special legal services for the whole construction project for many enterprises and public institutions as well as the construction of international sports venues.

Xia has rich experience in dispute resolution in the field of real estate, especially in dispute resolution in commercial real estate management. In the past five years, Xia and her team have handled more than 100 litigation and arbitration cases concerning disputes in lease contracts and service contracts, and achieved good results.
