Xu Wei

Introduction

Xu Wei, a partner at Zhong Lun Law Firm and the head of its Financial and Trust Products Group, possesses nearly two decades of professional experience in asset-backed securities and REITs. Xu is an in-depth participant and driving force in the development of China’s asset-backed securities (ABS) market. She specialises in addressing complex legal issues and promoting financial product innovation in domains such as credit assets, infrastructure, commercial real estate, and consumer finance. Xu has led over 40 innovative and pioneering ABS and REITs transactions with substantial market influence, providing services to major banking institutions, central state-owned enterprises, and industry-leading corporations. Continually recognised by Chambers and other prominent legal publications, she also serves as a member of the expert committee of NAFMII’s Securitisation Committee; a member of the ABCP Innovation Working Group; a member of the expert committee of the CCRE’s Filing Review Committee; and chair of the CSF Legal Committee.
