Wang Tian is a partner of Grandway Law Offices. Wang has more than 20 years of legal practice experience in real estate investment and operation, fund and trust investment, asset securitisation, FDI, and cross-border M&A. Wang possesses not only a deep grounding in legal principles but also a pragmatic commercial mindset. This enables him to guide clients through complex transactional landscapes, consistently maximising their chances of achieving key commercial objectives. Wang has provided legal services in real estate and other related fields to a wide range of clients, including but not limited to: Ping An Life Insurance, Ping An Trust, Shanghai Real Estate Group, CITIC Pacific, China Securities, Shanghai Electric, AIA Life Insurance, Bank of China, Beiersdorf, Go High Fund, GSUM Fund Management, Trina Solar, Xuhui Urban Investment, People.cn Venture Capital, Jinhe Group, and many other state-owned enterprises, private companies, financial institutions, as well as foreign/international corporate clients.

Wang also holds the role of leading attorney of the Real Estate and Construction Practice Committee of Grandway; a member of the Real Estate Research Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association; an expert in the field of Government Comprehensive Management of the Shanghai Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau; the supervisor of the Huangpu District People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries; a member of the Bankruptcy Settlement Research Committee of the Shanghai Bankruptcy Administrators Association; and a mediator at the Shanghai Mediation Centre for International Commercial Affairs, of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

Wang’s projects have been recognised in China Business Law Journal annual awards (such as Shanghai Legoland Park Project); he received “Legal One Merits Exemplary Ratings” and was consecutively ranked as “Leading Attorney In Real Estate” of Chambers Greater China Region for several years. Wang, serving as the chief editor, has co-authored the publication of Navigating Through Cycles: A Practical Guide to Real Estate Legal Practice in the New Era.
