Wang Shuhuan holds a Master’s degree in Economic Law from the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL). She previously taught at the university’s Department of Economic Law and is now a senior partner at Tahota Law Firm, while also serving on the firm’s Beijing Office Management Committee. Additionally, she acts as an off-campus mentor for CUPL and other universities.
With 30 years of legal practice, Wang has built a solid foundation and a broad perspective. She has long specialised in corporate governance, investment and financing, real estate and construction projects, labour employment, intellectual property, and complex civil and commercial dispute resolution. Leveraging her profound expertise and extensive practical experience, she provides clients with comprehensive and high-value legal services.
Specialising in cultural and artistic legal affairs, Wang has been a pioneer in China’s legal services for cultural heritage and tourism sectors. With nearly two decades of experience serving institutions in these fields, she possesses extensive expertise and unique insights into cultural relic preservation, collection management, tourism venue operations, museum exhibitions, public education, intellectual property protection, cultural innovation project development, and industry governance. Her distinguished track record includes successfully representing multiple high-profile litigation cases, notably the landmark unfair competition lawsuit filed by a renowned museum against a liquor company. This case was selected as a model case for traditional intellectual property protection by the Beijing High People’s Court, establishing a benchmark for lawful industry governance and rights protection.

The centre’s members actively monitor legal developments in the cultural and artistic sectors, dedicated to contributing expertise to the thriving growth of the industry.
