Sun Yiru

Introduction

Sun Yiru has practised law for 25 years, and holds the title of senior partner, with recognition as an Outstanding Debater in the inaugural National Lawyers’ Debate Competition. Her practice areas encompass securities compliance, M&A and anti-takeover defence, control disputes, handling of disclosure violations, securities false statement litigation, and financial derivatives regulation and litigation.

Sun has been recognised by Chambers and Partners as a Highly Recommended Lawyer in the area of Securities Litigation in Greater China, and by LEGALBAND as one of the top lawyers in China in the area of Securities and Capital Markets: Compliance and Litigation.

She is the author of Corporate Legal Practice and is also the leader of the research group for the outstanding project of the Securities Association of China, namely: “Research on the Theory and Practice of Representative Litigation for Securities Disputes”.
