Introduction

Liu Ping primarily focuses on dispute resolution (criminal litigation, criminal accusations), and anti-bribery & anti-corruption investigations.

He has earned unanimous recognition from prosecutors, police and fellow lawyers for his deep expertise in criminal law, exceptional courtroom defence skills, client meetings characterised by humanistic care, comprehensive and meticulous case file review, rigorous evidence analysis, and powerful defence pleadings. Notable cases that Liu has been involved in handling include: The wrongful conviction appeal of Fujian Miao Xinhua in an intentional homicide and body dismemberment case; The Tianjin Liu Chunshu case, in which all three accused charges were successfully appealed, resulting in full acquittals; A major organised crime syndicate case in Guangdong province; The Shenzhen Guangming Landslide case; The Xiaoniu Capital illegal fundraising case; The Touna Web illegal public deposit-taking case; A provincial commercial bank collapse case; An insider trading case involving a listed company; A market manipulation case involving a private fund company; and a bribery case involving a police chief in Jiangxi province. All these cases achieved favourable outcomes.
