Introduction
Li Ruomu focuses her practice on complex M&A, private equity transactions and venture capital investments. She has nearly 20 years of experience in a broad range of transactions in the life sciences and technology industries, including buy-side and sell-side public and private mergers, going private transactions, de-SPAC transactions, stock and asset acquisitions, divestitures, spinoffs, joint ventures and minority investments.
Li has advised on significant transactions across the life sciences and technology sectors. Her representative matters include advising Hello Group, a leading player in Asia’s online social networking space, on its acquisition of Happn; SJ Semiconductor, a semiconductor foundry, in a financing round to strengthen its strategic positioning and governance; ProfoundBio, a biotechnology company developing novel antibody-drug conjugate therapeutics for cancer patients, on its agreement to be acquired by Genmab; and Aclaris Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on immuno-inflammatory diseases, on its agreement with Biosion and related private placement.
Li started her legal career in the Silicon Valley and has practised there for close to a decade.
