
Introduction
Li Lu is senior partner at Xuxiaoping Law Firm; chair of the Family Law Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial Bar Association; research fellow at the Centre for Family Law and Wealth Succession Studies, China University of Political Science and Law School of Law; and resident guest on “Family Matters” at the first national multimedia programme focusing on family affairs broadcast on Western Movie Channel.
Over her 13-year legal career, Li has specialised in matrimonial and family law, non-litigation mediation, pre- and post-marital wealth planning, and the research and representation of complex family cases, handling more than 2,000 family law matters. The majority of her cases are resolved through mediation, earning her high praise and trust from clients. In 2023, she authored the book, Such Family Matters, published by China Legal Publishing House. Committed to public welfare, Li has consistently delivered pro bono legal education lectures in communities, enterprises, schools and military units over the years.
She has conducted over 300 marriage and family law seminars, reaching a cumulative audience exceeding one million people both online and offline. In 2025, she was selected for the LawXin Society Annual Top 20 Marriage and Family Lawyers list. She has received numerous honours including “National Advanced Individual in Safeguarding Women and Children’s Rights”, “Shaanxi Province March 8th Red Banner Bearer”, “Shaanxi Province Outstanding Lawyer”, and “National Exemplary Female Netizen”. Additionally, Li serves as an arbitrator for the Fourth Xi’an Arbitration Commission, and as a practical mentor for postgraduate students at the law faculties of Xi’an Jiaotong University, Northwest University of Political Science and Law, and Northwest University.
