Chen Wei

Introduction

Having worked for a Chinese “magic circle” law firm and practised for more than 20 years, Chen Wei has a wealth of experience in M&A, PE/VC investment and capital markets. She has extensive industry knowledge in technology, media and communications (especially in information and communications technology and communications infrastructure such as data centres, cloud and satellite services), energy, financial services and life sciences.

Chen has represented many multinational companies, PE and buy-out funds and state-owned enterprises in a variety of industries including telecoms and the internet, energy, real estate, financial services, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, aviation, mining, automobile and manufacturing.

She has handled many high-profile and complex projects. She specialises in designing transaction structures and drafting legal documents, and has a strong business sense, making her services valuable.
