Zhang Yinying

Introduction

Zhang Yunying graduated from the Department of Electronics of Peking University and has nearly 20 years of legal work experience, with the dual qualification of patent attorney and lawyer. She has represented many complex and difficult patent infringement lawsuits and patent administrative lawsuits, and has participated in many non-litigation legal services such as technology capital increase, technology contracts, IP due diligence, analysis of standard essential patents (SEPs) in the field of communications, FTO analysis, patent re-examination, patent search, patent layout, patent application, etc.

Zhang’s practice mainly involves patent protection, software copyright protection, anti-unfair competition law, anti-monopoly law and so on. Typical cases of Zhang’s include: the series of standard essential patent lawsuits between Samsung and Huawei; the 337 investigation and series of infringement lawsuits between Luxshare Precision and American Amphenol; the typical case of Intellectual Property Week in the 2023 Supreme Court public trial between Weichai and Japanese Special Ceramics Co., Ltd; the anti-monopoly lawsuit between Yangtze River and Hefei Medical Engineering; and the series of infringement lawsuits between CATL and China Innovation Aviation.
