Sun Yiru

Introduction

Sun Yiru has been practicing as a lawyer for 24 years, has the title of senior lawyer and performed with excellence in the first China Lawyer Debate Competition.

Sun specialises in securities legal services, covering both compliance and litigation, focusing on securities compliance, mergers and acquisitions and anti-mergers and acquisitions, identification of de facto controllers, control disputes, investigations of directors’/supervisors’ diligence and due diligence, identification of the validity of shareholders’ general meeting resolutions, as well as administrative penalties arising from disclosure of information, insider trading and market manipulation, civil litigation for securities (stock/bond) misrepresentation, etc.

Sun is the author of Cases and Analyses on Frontier Issues in Lawyers’ Corporate Business (published by Peking University Press), Corporate Law Lawyers’ Practice (published by Peking University Press), etc. She was also the leader of the research group for the outstanding project in 2023 of the Securities Association of China, namely Research on the Theory and Practice of Representative Litigation for Securities Disputes.
