Ren Limin

Introduction

Ren Limin is a senior partner of the Shanghai branch of Long An Law Firm. He graduated from Koguan School of Law at Shanghai Jiaotong University with a doctorate in law. As a lawyer, he has been practicing continuously for more than 18 years.

Ren is currently a director of the Agricultural and Rural Rule of Law Research Association of the Shanghai Law Society, a member of the Competition Law Research Association of the Shanghai Law Society, a member of the part-time legal adviser talent pool of Xuhui District of Shanghai, a lawyer of the state-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Xuhui District of Shanghai, a member of the Merger and Acquisition and Restructuring Professional Research Committee of the Shanghai Lawyers Association, and a member of the Shanghai Urban Renewal Research Association Expert pool. He was selected in the Guangqi Talent Programme (Youth) of Xuhui District in 2024-2025.

His practice areas include corporate and commercial affairs, corporate compliance, mergers and acquisitions, real estate and infrastructure, biomedicine, etc. He provides clients with legal services such as legal advisers, compliance system construction and special compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and dispute resolution.

His main clients are central enterprises, state-owned enterprises, listed companies and group companies, including Shanghai Tunnel Co., Ltd, Shanghai Shendi Group, Shanghai Inesa Group, Oriental Hub Group, China Resources Land, China Resources MIXC lifestyle, Shui On Real Estate, Cinda Real Estate, Shanghai Raas, Xuhui Capital, FEILO Acoustics, Shanghai Institute of Biological Products, etc.

Ren has actively participated in legislative and academic activities. As the host of the project, he won the bid for the Shanghai Financial Court’s project Research on Legal Issues Involving Private Fund Disputes, and also won the Excellent Project Award after the completion of the project. He has participated in many legislative activities in the field of urban renewal and competition policy in Shanghai and has been entrusted by relevant departments to draft a number of regulations related to urban renewal.
