Introduction

Xu Zhiyuan has practised as attorney at law in Tahota Law Firm since 2008. Xu is now a partner and is also vice director of the Internal Control Committee of Securities Business, and a member of Chengdu Bar Association’s Securities and Capital Market Committee. Xu has passed the first evaluation on the “corporate law” and “finance, securities and insurance” specialized areas by the Sichuan Bar Association, which certified Xu’s expertise in these two areas.

He specializes in securities, corporate finance, M&A, business restructuring, and corporate governance. With his theoretical knowledge and practical experience in capital markets, M&A, private equity, bonds, corporate governance, and employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), he has served and is serving as legal adviser for a number of large groups, listed companies, SOEs and financial institutions.

In recent years, Xu has undertaken a number of domestic and oversea IPO cases, M&A cases and ESOP cases, which have been praised highly by clients.
