Introduction

Leo Liu is an intellectual property lawyer of great influence. Among them, the Qing-Feng Steamed Dumpling (庆丰包子铺) and the “If you are the one (非诚勿扰)” cases are among the Top 10 IP cases the Supreme Court has mentioned. The Didi case is the earliest and most influential Internet plus IP case named as one of Beijing Top 10 IP cases, while the Supreme Court, has also selected the China Gold case as among the Top 10 IP matters of Hunan and Hainan, The Cakeking (采蝶轩) trademark retrial case, Xaomi Leijun trademark and unfair competition case, and Bank of Beijing little giant case have won industry honours. Liu is also good at representing IP operating projects, based on Chinese national conditions and conditions of companies. Among these, the Water Cube is one of the few profitable venues after Olympic Games because of the IP operation, which won praise from Jacques Rogge, former president of the International Olympic Committee. The authorities and companies have invited Liu many times to give lectures on IP, on which he has published several papers. Liu has served as deputy director, trademark professional committee of Beijing Lawyers Association, deputy director of Beijing Chaoyang Lawyers Association, mediator of the first Chinese trademark mediation centre, lecturer of the All China Lawyer Association, as well as being named as ALB’s Top 15 Litigation Lawyers for successive two times.
