Introduction

Tao Xiuming is founding partner and managing partner at JunZeJun Law Offices. He has been practicing law for nearly 30 years, which provides him with rich experience and excellent expertise in international finance, securities and foreign investments, among other areas. In addition, Tao is very experienced in the dispute resolution industry and is a well-known arbitrator specialized in dealing with disputes related finance and investment. He is currently listed on the panel of arbitrators at the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (also a member of the Expert Advisory Committee of CIETAC), the China Maritime Arbitration Commission, the Beijing Arbitration Commission/Beijing International Arbitration Center, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA), the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (also on the panel of arbitrators for the Financial Services Disputes), a member of ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR (also a member of the Task Force on Financial Institutions of the ICC), the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (SHIAC), the Chinese Arbitration Association (TaiPei, CAA), the Cross-Strait Arbitration Center, the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA).

He is also a mediator at the Conciliation Center of China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) / China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), a member of the Specialist Mediator Panel (China) of Singapore International Mediation Center, a mediator/legal expert of Benchmark Chambers International & Benchmark International Mediation Center. Furthermore, Tao is a member of the Financial Derivative Committee and Legal Committee of National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors of China, a member of Legal Experts of China Banking Association, a member of the Expert Committee of the China Insurance Assets Management Association, and a member of the Finance and Security Committee of the All China Lawyers Association.
