Chi Rida

Introduction

Chi Rida has been honored as a First Grade Lawyer and a National Outstanding Lawyer by the Ministry of Justice. He is a member of the 13th and 14th National Committees of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and a member of the Legislative Committee of the 14th People’s Congress of Jilin Province. He also holds the posts of third and fourth special supervisor of the Supreme People’s Court.

Chi’s more than 20-year career has given him rich theoretical knowledge and practical experience in law. He has represented a series of litigation and non-litigation projects that have significant social influence, achieving successful results. He has handled many representative commercial trading projects, such as the first state-owned enterprise restructuring project and the first cross-border M&A project both in Jilin province. He has led his team to represent China’s first involuntary dissolution case of AMC and accomplish an IPO project in HKEX for a commercial bank.

Chi’s main honorary titles include National Outstanding Lawyer and Outstanding Lawyer in Jilin province. For four consecutive years since 2020, he has been recognised as an Eminent Practitioner in the field of “corporate/commercial” by Chambers and Partners, which also ranked him as Recognised Practitioner in the field of “corporate/commercial” in 2017 and 2019.
