Chen Zuoke

Introduction

Chen Zuoke is a member of the China Advisory Committee of Dacheng Law Offices and the executive director of its Guangzhou office. With 22 years’ experience as a lawyer, Chen mainly focuses on various types of litigation and arbitration, as well as administrative and government affairs, such as real estate and construction engineering, corporate commercial affairs, etc. In addition, he also focuses on non-litigation business in the fields of corporate and commercial affairs, funds, and real estate, etc. He has
abundant experience in corporate financing, mergers and acquisitions, asset transfer, debt restructuring, insolvency, restructuring, and the disposal of non-performing assets.

Chen is also an external director at Guangzhou Exchange and formerly served at Guangzhou Industrial Investment and Capital Operation Holdings. He was a deputy director of the Real Estate Law Professional Committee of the Guangdong Lawyers Association; director of the Administrative Law Professional Committee of the Guangzhou Lawyers Association; a member of the Lawyer Expert Tank of the Real Estate and Construction Engineering Legal Affairs of Guangdong Province; an invited researcher of the Bar Society of the China Law Society; and vice president of the Lawyer Industry Branch of the Guangzhou New Social Strata Association.

Chen’s honours and awards mainly include: “Top 10 Lawyers in Guangzhou” from 2009 to 2011 conferred by the Guangzhou Lawyers Association in 2012, and “Top 15 Litigation Lawyers of ALB China in 2014” by Asian Legal Business He was given the honorary title of Guangzhou’s Most Beautiful Lawyer the Guangzhou Lawyers Association, and has been named in Chambers and Partners’ list of lawyers in the corporate/commercial field for five consecutive years since 2019. In 2020, he was awarded the title of “National Excellent Lawyer” by the Ministry of Justice and has been selected twice into “The Legal 500 Recommended Lawyers List” since 2021.
