Introduction

Avinash Panjabi leads the corporate practice in PSHP Law and has more than 17 years of experience advising offshore and onshore investors and lenders on some of the largest and most sophisticated national and cross-border M&A, project development, financing and foreign investment transactions in Indonesia.

Avinash is widely known and well-regarded in the power, oil and gas, mining and infrastructure sectors. He advises the government, independent power producers, exploration and production companies, project developers, lenders and trading houses on the development, monetisation, financing and acquisition of major energy and infrastructure projects in Indonesia. Avinash also has extensive experience in advising on Indonesian investment, M&A and how the regulators operate. He assists offshore investors and lenders on a range of matters, including corporate structuring and restructuring, incorporation, foreign investment issues, financing and security.

Avinash’s Indonesian legal knowledge, supplemented with his working knowledge of doing business in Indonesia, allows him to provide expert commercial legal advice to his clients, including simplifying complex Indonesian investment and regulatory issues.

Prior to joining PSHP Law as a partner and as head of its corporate practice in 2021, Avinash was previously based in Singapore for nine years, working with a major international law firm and prior to that with a leading foreign affiliated law firm in Jakarta.
