Arindam Sarkar has joined Fox & Mandal as a partner to strengthen the firm’s corporate practice.
Sarkar brings to the firm nearly two decades of expertise in general corporate and commercial law, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital, and private equity.
His legal acumen spans various domains, including banking and finance, where he has guided both international and Indian banks as well as financial institutions, navigating transactions and regulatory landscapes.
Prior to joining Fox & Mandal, Sarkar was an equity partner at Khaitan & Co. He also held positions at Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co, and AZB & Partners.
Sarkar has successfully represented clients in diverse sectors, including pharmaceuticals, real estate, coal production, film production, and IT/ITES. Additionally, he serves as an independent director on both the boards of SaReGaMa Limited and Albert David Limited.
