Allen Yang

Introduction

Allen Yang is a partner at SGLA Law Firm. He received his LLM from the University of Edinburgh in the UK, and is fluent in both English and Chinese. With his extensive experience and expertise, Yang specialises in regulatory and compliance law, dispute resolution and corporate affairs in professional fields such as company investigation/white-collar crime, unfair competition, compliance system construction, cybersecurity and data protection, and environmental, social and governance. He primarily serves clients in the manufacturing, distribution, retail, foreign trade, pharmaceutical and health, internet media and finance industries.

Yang has provided clients with daily compliance consultations, compliance system construction, legal audits, employee training, and internal investigations, including projects involving embezzlement, bribery and corruption, conflict of interest and violation of business secrets.

In the regulatory area, Yang has guided clients in responding to administrative investigations, consumer complaints and various crisis events. Yang worked as the in-house lawyer for a prominent multinational company in the food and beverage industry. During his tenure, he was responsible for overseeing all legal affairs concerning the company’s medical nutrition business, including production, sales, project research, and operation and management. This experience provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the company’s operations and business logic, gaining him extensive knowledge in corporate affairs.
