Allen Shyu has joined the US law firm Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe as a partner in its China corporate group, resident in Hong Kong. Previously a partner at Baker & McKenzie, Mr Shyu will continue to focus on international securities offerings, including debt and equity securities, US and Hong Kong initial public offerings, private placements and cross-border M&A transactions. Mr Shyu began his legal career as an associate with the Taiwanese law firm Lee & Li. He moved to Baker & McKenzie in Hong Kong in 2000 and became a partner there in 2006.
