In view of the rapid development of new privacy laws in the region in recent years, the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Australia recently hosted a webcast entitled The Golden Age of Privacy in Asia, which covered legal developments with a focus on key differences and similarities across the various laws that companies should consider when doing business in the region. ACC Australia also supported the recent 2016 Asia-Pacific Counsel Awards on 17 March in Hong Kong. The awards celebrated individual successes, as well as those of leading in-house teams, in the Asia-Pacific.
