Qi graduated from the China University of Political Science and Law, and worked as a practising lawyer in a Red Circle law firm before joining a large insurance asset management institution. He was seconded by the Insurance Asset Management Association of China from early 2019 to early 2021 as leader of the inspection team of the first department of the association’s innovation and development department, responsible for verification and registration of debt investment plan products, revision of new regulations, formulation of industry standardisation texts, and research of innovative products of equity investment plans.
His professional recognition has included “Top 20 Most Popular Training Expert Lecturers” of the IAMAC; 2022 ALB China Law Awards “Project Finance Transaction of the Year”; and “Establishment and Opening of Universal Beijing Resort” selected among China Business Law Journal’s 2021 “Outstanding Transactions”.
