Malaysia law firm Christopher & Lee Ong hires former Kuala Lumpur High Court judicial commissioner Saheran Suhendran as a consultant in a boost to its disputes and advvisory practice.
Suhendran, who retired from the bench in May 2026, brings nearly 40 years of legal experience and specialises in restructuring and insolvency.
Christopher & Lee Ong managing partner Kuok Yew Chen said Suhendran’s appointment came amid evolving client demand.
“Saheran’s appointment was driven by the firm’s ongoing focus on enhancing its disputes and advisory practice, particularly in restructuring and insolvency, where demand continues to evolve,” Kuok told Asia Business Law Journal.
“His combination of nearly four decades in practice and recent judicial experience adds a distinct perspective to the firm’s ability to handle complex commercial disputes.”
