Riding the surging wave of outbound investment, Cathay Associates Kejie (formerly Kejie Law Office) and two European partners established the cross-jurisdictional legal services network Cathay Associates in September.
“Our strength is our China specialism. Every member will have a Chinese adviser in their offices, and, based on an exchange programme, each member firm will have a representative in offices in China on either a permanent or regular basis”, Kejie managing partner He Jie told China Business Law Journal.
“This means our Chinese clients can get first-hand advice about the global market from within China, and can rely on Chinese understanding when using our services overseas.”
