Vincent Shen

Introduction

Vincent Shen graduated from Fudan University Law School and obtained his bachelor and master of laws degrees. Shen’s practice focuses on the areas of capital markets, private equity, venture capital, funds, corporate finance, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions. It has particular expertise in advising on cross-border transactions.

Shen has more than 15 years’ experience on a variety of transactions covering a broad range of industrial sectors, especially technology, media and telecommunications; education/training; healthcare; consumer products; logistics and distribution; industrial manufacturing and modern agriculture.

He has advised a large number of multinational and PRC-based enterprises and investment institutions, including JD Group, Bilibili, Dada Group, Didi Group, Orient International Group, Oriental Pearl Group, Weride, Chicmax Group, Atour Hotel, Joyson Electronics, Yongda Automobiles, Hesai Group, Sequoia Capital, Legend Capital, Oriza Holding, Grand Flight Investment, GAW Capital, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley.

Shen’s well-known deals include JD Group’s US IPO, Bilibili’s US IPO, Dada Group’s US IPO, Enmonster’s US IPO, Bilibili’s HK IPO, Chicmax Group’s HK IPO, Landsea Green Life’s HK IPO, Bilibili’s series of acquisitions including Netease Comics assets and popular virtual idol Luo Tianyi, joint establishment of Nomura Orient International Securities by Orient International Group and Nomura Securities, Enmonster’s financing from Alibaba, CMC, Carlyle, Hillhouse and Softbank Ventures Asia, Xbiome’s financing from Banyan Capital, Zhen Fund, 5Y Capital, Legend Capital and Primavera Capital, and Gaw Capital’s investment in Wanda Commercial Management Group.
