Tata Steel has arranged the largest loan to date for an Indian company in a move that could impact the credit derivatives market.
Advised by Herbert Smith, Tata Steel got its new long-term financing in May for the takeover of Anglo-Dutch steelmaker Corus. The company will borrow US$7.29 billion.
