Sullivan & Cromwell (S&C) has facilitated Singapore-based Hillhouse Investment in acquiring biodiesel maker SK Eco Prime from Seoul-based Hahn & Company for an undisclosed sum.
S&C partner Michael George DeSombre, based in Palo Alto, led the corporate team, with the assistance of Hong Kong-based special counsel Joonkeun Yoo, and associates William Ma and Claire Park. Associate Jin Lee assisted the corporate team from Melbourne. Partners Chris Beatty in Sydney and Jacqueline Wenchen Tang in Hong Kong led the finance team. Associate Michelle Vickers also assisted the finance team from Hong Kong.
The share purchase agreement, completed on 27 December 2023, was estimated at between USD300.08 million to USD375.09 million, and continued global synergy in the private equity landscape.
