Pallavi Banerjee has rejoined Trilegal as a partner to strengthen the firm’s banking and finance practice in Mumbai.
Banerjee has been an executive director and senior legal counsel at Goldman Sachs in India, and had a brief stint at Trilegal. Her experience spans 10 years in banking and finance transactions, particularly in private debt, stressed assets, debt financing and structured debt products.
Kannan Rahul, a partner at Trilegal who has worked with Pallavi previously, said, “She is excellent technically on debt matters, adept at handling client relationships and is a team player. She has now been on both sides of the fence, having worked in-house for a marquee institution as well as for top-tier law firms, and that type of hybrid experience is invaluable. She will add significantly to execution capabilities on a broad range of financing transactions.”
With Banerjee’s addition, Trilegal’s total partnership ranks now stand at 117.
